Browse our gallery of patterns and select one you like as a background for creating a new stereogram.
What is a pattern? A pattern should be an image with high color variations. The most important thing is that it shouldn’t have horizontal regions with the same color. This is needed because actually when you generate a stereogram, the algorithm makes some subtle changes in the pixel colors, and, if there is a region with the same color, then it doesn’t know what color to change into, and it will use the same color, and, off course, the depth illusion won’t appear. Also, please use small images, as large patterns tend to mess the image (I might have a bug somewhere in the code :-S).
